I was about 9 or 10 when this song came out. Mind, I didn't pay a lot of attention to the lyrics at that time. All I know is that the music for some reason reminded me of pictures I'd seen of the L.A. skyline at night. In 2007, I went to Griffith Observatory at night and looked out over the lights of the city and was reminded of those pictures from so long ago...and this song!

Marilyn has one of the most beautiful, recognizable voices ever.I love this so much, heard it in Walgreens of all places and had to come home and play it! ♥♥ Perfect Valentine Song! ♥♥ I just realized this song is 41 years old! I had my son in 1971 when this was out!~♥♥

best song they ever did. Marilyn has the voice of an angel.

Both voices are GREAT! Both voices are instruments of the CREATOR!

A hauntingly beautiful song I love listening to...especially when I'm with my lady on a winter night where the moon is casting shadows on the snow. I first heard this song one moonlit winter night on KWKI Radio in Kansas City. Marilyns voice was so mysteriously dark and beautiful.
@dorotheajoyce Ms Joyce, I am truly humbled to be in your cyber-presence! I used to work in radio. Believe me when I say that this is not only one of my personal favorites, but speaking as a musician, myself, it's beyond doubt one of the finest crafted pieces of music I've ever heard. No hyperbole, ma'am.

When I hear this and some of the other songs from that era, I get all sappy and start missing that time in my life, Is there something wrong with me or do alot of other people appreciate those years compared to the present decade we're in right now??, No other decade ever came close to the 70's IMHO.
