The odds are now good that we are moving into a stage III financial crisis, in which our choices are between depression, inflation, or substantial public intervention. I sound the alarm...

  • I like how you are talking about this while wearing an Obama shirt. He took money from Fanny and Freddy, and voted against investigating them in 2005. You are blind.

  • Once Bush starts putting people in FEMA concentration camps I'm out. You can say it can't happen here in a box car as someone makes a comment about Germany.

  • Are you an economist?

  • Brad rants in this video like the typical Quackademic Statist shill.

The current state of affairs has become a meddler's wet dream and Brad goes for a big dip in the lake as he calls for technocrat-bureaucrat meddlesome intervention.

Of course, dipskips from the dummy's citadel -- UC Bezerkeley -- fail to admit that meddling Statists with their corrupt cabal of aligned spend-a-holic Politicians, Bankers and Quackademics have caused the problems.

    This guy gets an "F".

  • Not gonna work. If the federal reserve's money printing does not work because no bank is lending and only borrowing it to cover the losses. Then if the government borrows the money (from the fed cuz no one wants us bonds) to spend how is inflation kept in check?

That's a joke... Hyperinflation here we come.

  • Very good. I like the setting too. It does come across as read from a script, and I'm trying to figure out why. Something to do with eye movement. Maybe the distraction of trying to figure out if there was actually coffee in the cup... I look forward to the next video.

  • Yep, the executive and legislative branches aren't exactly out of the loop either. Not an easy task by any means.

  • But the cronyism INCLUDES the FED. Why would they root out themselves?

  • And that is why the FED WILL buy MBS, despite the denials.

  • I would MUCH prefer to let the creative destruction component of capitalism work instead of your socialist ideas. In fact, if we didn't already practice a crony form of capitalism that privatizes gains and socializes losses, we wouldn't be in this mess. So, instead of more socialism, the government and the fed should allow the free market to work and spend their time regulating out the cronyism run amok.
