Health Care Tea Party Rally at Gary Peters Office

A group gathered outside Representative Gary Peters' Troy Michigan office to express their feelings about the government takeover of health care.
The subject of most of the signs was health care. But as we walked thru the crowd and asked people why the were there, many said they were frustrated with congress running wild, and felt they had no voice.
Several people said they felt insulted by being labeled 'an angry mob' by some Democrat leaders.

Was that the entire crowd that you pass buy? I would say it looks more like 250-300. I am very interested in having the numbers accurate, and I know how hard it is not to be generous in your estimate.

Except that -- it's a first amengment right to walk on teh flag. Even in front a marine. I'm female raied by my dad, a marine, and we are supposed to defend EVERYONE, not just those who agree with us.

Nicely shot video. I was there too and it was incredible. The real grass roots people opposing socialized health care (both Republicans and Democrats) were passionate and genuine. The ones pulling for the socialist program, God bless them, were very few in number, mostly had professional signage which is a sign of astroturfing, and generally didn't understand what they are promoting. I'm guessing that less than 5% of total people were supporting ObamaCare. Estimate 500 showed. See my Channel

Keep it up man! Good Job! I love seeing the American people stand up and say no to this. If people would take time and read the bill, they would understand why this is bad and to what depth the leaders in congress and the president are lying.

The union thugs out there cannot match the number of Americans willing to say no to this.

Would you consider these people as polarizing? Are they plea's rhetoric? These are all people that feel that their government has grown out of control. Great. I am a libertarian. BTW, kids already have SCHIP for children 5 and under which does not exclude pre-existing conditions. The new law forces insurance providers to accept new enrollments with pre-existing conditions, BUT it allows them to EXCLUDE coverage for those pre-existing conditions. Please read the law, then STFU.
