beyoncé is my girl but she sounds a hot ass mess when put next to whitney. you are embarassing her with this video. actually this song should have been left untouched after whitney did it. both christina & beyoncé made complete fools out of themselves TRYING to sing this song. i guess they thought that their 12 year old fans would never find whitney's version smh...

I think Beyoncé is the next best contender to Whitney Houston. Whilst I don't like comparing talented singers, Whitney is unreachable and this is common knowledge really. Beyoncé nontheless is in her own league, considering her young age and her genre. Love them both.

It's Whitney who first sung this song with soul, totally different from the Carpenters. If Whitney hadn't done this song, there would be no Bey or Chris' versions.

I honestly didn't like Whitney's version. I think Donny Hathaway with Aaliyah following did it best. I'm about to listen to Christina Aguilera's, but I like Beyonce's after Aaliyah.
