awsome video man it really helped me out i put a whole new engine in my truck hoping it would fix my problem with the abs and brake and speed sensor i have a 1998 dodge ram 4x4 5.9L and i wish i would have known about this before i did all this work and spent all that money come to find out that plug was just unplugged dam

@MrOzzyfan123 Diagnostic Trouble Code reader is a good way to start to find out if there are any other problems.

i have a 98 dakota and my check engine light was on for like 2 days now it isnt on but my abs and brake light is on all the time and my speedometer says i and going faster then what i actually going would that still be the speed sensor

Great video! Very helpful. Sounds like my problem. Engine light and abs lights come on when I am driving and the speedometer quicks working every now and then. I noticed that your problem was the wiring on the sensor. Is the sensor itself attached to the rear differential? If so, how hard is it to remove and cost of a new sensor.

@reddoogan Yes the sensor is inserted in the top of the differential case. Not hard at all to replace. As for the cost phone your nearest dealer.

i have a dodge ram 1500 and mind just came on... abs brake light, but now my truck wont shift out of 1st gear! so will this fix that also

I noticed you did that on a 1998 dakota. would that be the same location for a 1998 Dodge Ram 1500? I have the same problem.
