Thanks large in part to my friend Lee, my ATV snowblower is really fun to use. We got about 8 inches of snow this morning and using it was a treat. So, I've always wanted to have a video of it doing it's thing, here it is. (I have a 1000 ft. driveway so ... this is just at the bottom of the driveway ... the main driveway is easier than even this) Addi is riding with me :)

  • Eric...................is that a motor on the back driving the blower ? If so ..... how is the drive accomplished ?

  • Yes, there is a 13 hp Kohler on the back. There is a frame that runs underneath the ATV with a long shaft back to front. The back frame actually supports the front frame and you can quick disconnect the front frame (mount point for front is at the foot bridge region).

It's really pretty cool and although it's some maintenance to keep running well (since I have a long gravel driveway), it really does move snow very well.

Company name is Erskine Manufacturing. They have a new one coming out.

  • where is thiss?

  • It's in northern Vermont.

  • I could have used that last year here in MI 67 inches total for the year in snow !

  • is that a recon?

  • i got a plow for my quad and its alot of fun, that kinda looks boring and complicated

  • I'd definitely keep an eye on the constantly changing VT wind directions! :)

  • That is so cool I wish I had one

  • dude, this is ef-in lame, why is this on the web

  • Just get a lawntractor with a blower. To build this with anything worth money would be way to expensive dumbass

  • That's quite the contraption!

  • how northern?

  • That looks like if the wind blows just right it's gonna be a very cold and wet morning on that quad... lol
