You are in danger of assuming things about me that you cant prove and in doing so becoming like a theorist yourself. 1. Im not in the wrong pew in any Church. 2. I dont think Obama is the Messiah (see point 1). Read the works of the late Carl Sagan formally of SETI - also Google the Drake Equation.  Its all out there all you need is an open mind.

I dont have a religious believe that fits formal thinking (no church, no God sorry) My opinion of Obama is limited to what I can find out here in New Zealand. I do think that Bush and Cheney have had a detrimental effect on world stability and the USA - I cant hate or love them - dont know them personally. I dont think that Socialism or Capitalism are effective methods today. Global Warming? Nature can inflict more damage than humans - but informed management would be prudent.

As far as Bush/Cheney,they weren't in office when the World Trade Centers were bombed the first time.People seem to forget the first attempt at blowing them up.That also goes for the USS Cole.Clinton was prez.I think that IF Iraq becomes stabile,which they are on their way,and becomes a democracy like Turkey,Bush should be revered as a great president.I also know that the Iraqi people/The World is better without Saddom.The things he did to his own people were pure Evil.Nature is the cause 4 GW.

You sound like you might have had your beliefs shattered at some point and have never really got over it - happens to us all my friend. In defence its easy to demand to know the price of everything but miss the true value of life. Proof is vital, I agree but even proof wont convince some people, even today that the world is not flat or that the planet is more 6,000 years old.

On the same note,no, I don't believe we are the only ones in our galaxy/universe/multi-universe s.But the drake equation means nothing,not to mention that I never heard him,or Sagan saying they believe in Aliens visiting earth.They speculate on what other life forms may be like,but they never say they believe in Aliens visiting Earth.You assume I don't read.I wrote my first report on UFOs in 5th grade,and I'm 47 now.This has always been an interest of mine.I own a Meade 12" Cas.Telescope.$5000.

I like chatting to you even though you come across as very forceful and opinionated. I am beginning to think you have some very interesting things to say. I too believe there must be Intelligent live in our Galaxy and without a doubt in the Universe. I have never seen a UFO so cant offer a statement on that - but definitely do not rule out the possibility that they are and have been visiting Earth. I dont think Light Speed restrictions are necessarily restrictions the more I read about it.
