BootAnimation

How to change your boot animation via adb. Just follow these simple instructions and you'll be good to go. Once you've connected your g1/MyTouch via usb, and have your replacement bootanimation.zip on your desktop you'll use the following commands...(press Enter after each line)

cd Desktop (enter)
adb remount (enter)
adb push bootanimation.zip /system/media/ (enter)
adb shell reboot (enter)

Yes. Except you change /system/media to /data/local.

@MrBlackElvis Hey I went ahead and flashed my MT3G with the Manup Eclair ROM. Seems smooth except that the auto text function blows! Is there any way to fix that? I looked for a dictionary file but couldn't find one.

The latest eclair that I ran on my my touch Eclair2.1-v1.5 was almost fully functional. I know that GPS works, and bluetooth is functioning as long as you do not apply the 10mb RAM hack. Voice to text in almost all fields works. Camera works. I use Cyan ROM's on my nexus, but I did not on my my touch because of the thing with the gapps, so I can offer you a direct comparison. @MrBlackElvis I've been using Cyanogen's 4.2.14.1 Donut Rom on my MT3G. How would you say manup's 2.1 Eclair works in comparison? Is everything currently functioning on it? BT, WiFi, apps, etc? Also, do you have a Yahoo!, AIM or Gmail account for chat? Thanks Elvis!
