"Hot Chocolate and Memories" Episode 1; part 3/3

"Dinner time" and she had a look on her face. Like she was happy that we were there, like that. She turned around slowly and walked to the kitchen. I and Logan got up, Logan placed the album on the couch and we then sat down on the dinning table, next to each other. Our fathers were talking, about bussiness I guess. And I could hear our mommas on the kitchen, talking gossip I presume. But soon the room was filled by the smell of the food Serene prepared. She placed the food on the center of the table and my appetite came. The food had a delicious look, and I bet it tasted better. After everyone was served the talking started.
"So...Selena, Logan..." Serene started "...what were you and Logan doing minutes ago?" she then took a bit of rice and ate it.
I looked at her "We were just seeing some old photos..." and I smiled "...remembering things." and I took a bit of my chicken with my fork and lead it to my mouth.
She nodded. The conversation came up to the table, and a normal dinner who normaly takes half an hour or forty five miutes turned into a hour and half dinner. With all the converstation. I looked at my watch, it was already 10.30 pm. We were just talking at the table, but I felt... out of place. And so did Logan, our parents were talking non-stop.
"Mom, can Selena and I be excused?" Logan said.
Serene nodded and looked at the rest of them for approval "Sure, just take your plates to the kitchen."
Logan got up and took his dishes. I followed him to the kitchen. He took my dishes and placed them on the sink along with his. I looked at him as he did the dishes. I yawned, then I heard him chuckle. I looked at him. "What?"
He stopped chuckling "Nothing...Nothing..." and he dried his hands.
I folded my arms and raised an eyebrow and just looked at him. He looked back "What?" he said confused.
"Nothing...Nothing..." and I let out a low laugh.
He walked slowly to me "I recall on thing you know..." and he stopped a few inches away.
I looked at him, and slowly gave a step back "What...?"
I saw him smirking "I still remember you didn't like when someone tickled you..."
My eyes widened and I backed away "Logan..." and I streched my hand in front like a stop sign "...don't"
His smirk grew wider and he quickly started tickling me. I started laughing, hard "LOGAN, STOP!". He was laughing too.
"If I stop, what will you give me?" but he didn't stop tickling me.
I was trying to talk through all the tickling "...Pop..." I breathed deeply "Poptarts! I know you love Poptarts!".
He stopped tickling "Good move..." and he laughed.
I had my head on his chest, well not on, but close. He had his arms around me, on my waist line, where he knew I hated getting tickled. I looked up and our eyes met, our faces inches away. We just stared at eachothers eyes for moments , but soon we heard our moms voices and quickly stepped away, nervously. I looked at the kitchens clock and it marked 11 pm.
Our moms walked in but they didn't notice anything. They were talking, and I just walked out of the kitchen, along with Logan. Once I stepped in the hall I burst myself laughing. Logan looked at me, and laughed too. After I yawned, my eyes felt heavy. I looked at Logan "Am I the only one tired?"
He nodded "I'm not. But you had a long trip..." he holded my hand "Come, I'll show you your room." and he smiled. I took his hand and as we walked by the kitchen he told our parents I was going to bed. We went upstairs and he walked with me to the last door of the hall, still holding my hand. He showed my my bedroom.
"Well, I'll see you tomorrow Sel" and he smiled as he walked out. "Good night" and he closed the door. I dressed my pj's and laid on the bed and I fell asleep thinking about him. Logan.
