A disturbing commercial clip from an episode of "I've Got a Secret," (about 1956) in which a goat (Lady Astor) is fed a couple of cigarettes in order to prove that "Winstons taste good, like a cigarette should." Lady Astor, by the way, was an animal actor, having recently appeared (at the time of this taping) in The Teahouse of the August Moon. I've done a little research on Lady Astor, and it seems she also played in the stage production of Teahouse of the August Moon and once, after a performance, was sent flowers by Elsa Maxwell.....which Lady Astor ate. (Sorry about the poor quality.)
Oh, that poor goat. It died from lung cancer.

"Those of you who saw Teahouse of the August Moon" will recognize her . . . " Yeah, right! Like you can tell one brown goat from another. Just plain bizarre.
