C&C: Tiberian Dawn Introductory Sequence

The intro for Westwood Studios' Command & Conquer Tiberian Dawn, featuring clips from various television programmes in 1999 (of the Tiberian universe, of course). It provides background information for the game's plot as well as sets the mood for the rest of the game.

It's also interesting to note how the intro shows how, in modern times, mass media and military operations mix together and cross over into each other's territory, creating potential for manipulation and abuse, an important element in the Tiberian Dawn plot.

Notably, the romance clip features Daniel Kucan, Joe Kucan's brother, who later played the part of Jake McNeil in Tiberian Sun.

The $perry Financial Network clip is an obvious nod to Brett W. Sperry, producer and creator of Command & Conquer.

12. $perry Financial Network (Nod interference present)
13. Greg Burdette news report, featuring GDI's aircraft carrier and Nod assault preparations (clearly aydible GDI communications and interference present)
