  • This album marked the arrival of Sherrie Payne to The Supremes after the abrupt departure of Jean Terrell and Lynda Laurence that had replaced Diana Ross (Jean) & Cindy Birdsong (Lynda) when Diane went solo, Cindy to concentrate on family.

Cindy will also return and again not since the lineup of Mary, Cindy, Jean that no doubt together with the Mary, Cindy, Sherrie were the most versatile collaborations, unique different sounds and dynamically staged and performed choreographies!

    THE SUPREMES!

  • still think scherrie a great singer and she breather new life into the group.tight harmony.good song

  • @yandrsupreme Oh...*THINKING FACE*...hmm..Thanks for the info! =D

  • @stawberry19919 This song wasn't outdated in the least... look up Tony Orlando and Dawn's "Look in my eyes pretty woman", it was a top 10 hit written and produced by the same people who wrote and produced this song, about 6 months before this was recorded.

  • @BlogShag Not me. It's true. Scherrie Payne is a great vocalist and the group harmonies are good, but the music was all over the place. And with them constantly switching off leads, the 70's Supremes (post Jean) never really developed an identity. And once they moved into disco/club, they may as well have been session singers, the music was the star, not the singers.

  • EXCELLENT video !

  • @stage7 I hope what you say is true, this song is FABULOUS and deserved to do much better.. it totally stands the test of time, sounds as fresh and exciting as it did in the 70's. This lineup should get their props, they were FIERCE!

  • The Supremes Are SUPER!!

  • I LOVE this song!!!

  • @BlogShag Scherrie Payne.
