And what makes it even funnier is that I actually saw a really old interview of bjork somewhere and she was talking specifically about this. She called it "musical snobbery" and was saying how she didn't understand and didn't like how people compare artists to one another and said it was like comparing vegetables and fruits.

It's not fair to say gaga isn't just as good as bjork simply because she's more mainstream and her lyrics are less complex. They simply have different ways of writing and different tastes. They both put everything they have into their art and it shows. That's what makes them both completely original and unique.
