this wasnt too bad, a little strange and wierd feeling. Would do well until she touched the back of my throat setting off the gag reflex.

  • And it doesn't look like there's much compression at all. I don't think that was the purpose of the test, though. This is often done pre-operation to look at the vocal chord structures-- especially helpful if you have trouble with them later (post op).

  • Your vocal chords look great! ;-D

  • This procedure is very similar to laryngoscopy, and the probe is similar to the borescope we used to check the cylinder walls of the engine.

    Thank for sharing your experience. I was thinking more about fiber optic camera similar to one used to check for chronic esophagus and stomach ulcer.

    Are there any signs of trachea compression?
