And it doesn't look like there's much compression at all. I don't think that was the purpose of the test, though. This is often done pre-operation to look at the vocal chord structures-- especially helpful if you have trouble with them later (post op).

This procedure is very similar to laryngoscopy, and the probe is similar to the borescope we used to check the cylinder walls of the engine.
Thank for sharing your experience. I was thinking more about fiber optic camera similar to one used to check for chronic esophagus and stomach ulcer.
Are there any signs of trachea compression?
