@amberkate89 You should watch the documentary it's pretty good Morgan Spurlock produced it. Rev. Billy is over hyping "stop shopping" because of the national debt our country is in. If you have Netflix check it out cause it is really interesting.

Rev. Billy is spot on in every way. He was accurately warning people to stop blind consumerism and binge shopping as it is a clear recipe for disaster. the current recession can be sourced to a 4 Trillion trade and lending deficit that the United States created by consuming to much and impoverishing themselves with a war that was just about making the minority that bit richer; just like a 3rd World country. Rev. Billy is not even religious, he's just very creative at getting his point across.
