Southeast is definitely more social, but at a cost. People play shitty dubstep music until 3am, so you can't sleep at night before a test and Witte has a 25% dropout rate. You can go to Ogg or Smith, but it's $1,000 extra so you pay over $800/month to share a room and for that price you could your own room in Lucky. If you are looking to stay at Madison go to Lakeshore. Dorms are way nicer, people party but not excessively. Remember what you are going to school for: academics, not to party.

Hi everybody. I am a 20 year old Dutch Student who is gonna spend the upcoming Fall Semester at UW Madison. I would love to live in an dorm and really experience the ´College Life.´ I am kind of affraid for a few things: That building up a group of (American) friends is going to be hard as an exchange student. Do you now any dorms where international and American students are mixed. Thanks

Absolutely NO way witte has a 25% drop out rate. I came to UW as valedictorian of my 4,000+ student high school with over 50 AP credits earned, and I loved Sellery. It's not too loud or too much of a party to get your work done. If anything, it saved me time because when I was done with work I could walk out my door and instantly have a great time. Sellery was an unforgettable, amazing experience I wouldn't trade for anything.

Sellery was BANGIN last year...consequently I'm going to have to live in lakeshore for the next three years to get my GPA back up lol
