For anyone curious enough to wonder, the designed special teams play you see executed was called "Home-Run Throwback," courtesy of Alan Lowery, the special teams coach.

And come to think of it, even if Dyson would have been stopped just shy of the endzone for some reason, they would have still been in field goal range with like 5 seconds left. So this was a total collapse by Buffalo's special teams.

@cadidliac If you watch the view 2:17-2:22, the ball moves BACK towards the 25 yard line. The ball moves diagonally backwards. If you watch the aforementioned time section over and over again, you clearly see the ball moves backward. Miraculous? Yes. A forward pass? Most certainly not.

@qman66 That's because at first, it does look like a forward pass. Then, after they see al the replays, they arrive at the right call. I thought they did a great job announcing. And they did KNOW the rules; forward = illegal backward or straight line = legal

Your description is totally wrong. It was against the bills (the played the rams in the super bowl), and it was the AFC wildcard game (not the semi final)
