@kcirish Thank you for going to the trouble of leaving me two replies. Im flattered that my comments effected you so much. As for my comments, this is a social comment video site, it would be a pretty boring place if only major points could be commented on. By the way, no need to thank me for explaining youtube to you, it my pleasure to shine a light into the small room that is your life xxxx

she was gladys a very beauitufl woman

@kcirish My point was Davis mentioned one actor who happened not to be British - in passing -- it wasn't a discussion about Richard Harris or any actor in particular; More than the ability to make commentary, there is also the need for restraint; not every perceived flaw merits pointing out (to show how clever YOU are?). These days, we should think before we type.. in addition to thinking before speaking.

@jonwiley Another JOY of the internet is the fact that we all can make comments and express our point of view. As for Bette's comments, yes it did change her point, as she was comparing only British actors to American ones and not all non american actors to american ones. You might have noticed a "COMMENT" area under this video, so just if you didnt know, this allows us (and even you) the chance to leave our views on any part of any video, ie YOU-tube.

@kcirish A pitfall of the Internet age; there's always a kibitzer who quibbles over unimportant facts. So Harris is Irish; did this fact change the point of Bette's story? No.

Sorry Bette, Richard Harris was Irish :)
Such a strong, empowering woman. She is exactly right when she speaks at 1:22. Hollywood is so full of plastic hearts and plastic bodies, now.

the grand dame of film. a woman of a keen intelligence , wonderful wit and extraordinary talent. i miss her so much but she has left behind a wonderful legacy for posterity, she shows all these lame duck actors today how it is done.
