I agree that David Archuleta should definitely be taken seriously as an artist & that he has grown in his talents. His is the only Christmas album I'd actually buy. I don't care for most others. But I don't think others discount his talent for his cuteness. You can't deny his cute innocence in such a corrupt world. It's a refreshing contrast. I think it works in his favor, really. It attracts both young & old fans who are weary of the same old fake & sleazy celebrities.

Sakura, I get what you are saying about the word 'cute'. I dislike how people call him 'young man' and 'teenager' etc. He is 19 now, which is still young but with the life experience he has had over the last couple of years and his maturity, I think he should be allowed to graduate to the 'man' category now. I still think David has some cute ways about him but not in a childish way. I think that my 30-something husband is kinda cute sometimes too.

You know, let's now break this stigma that Mr. Cook left on David with the "so cute" descriptive. Mr. Cook knew what he was doing during season seven only to make him appear more superior over David. But, that's Mr. Cook for ya. David

is now a young man who has grown in his talents big time and has proved to the world what he is about. So please let's stop this "so cute" descriptive for David. He is not a child and should be taken serious as an artist. Your probably a Mr. Cook fan yeah?
