@LetThaNECTARflow if you have been to a concert of his you would realize his music is just an excuse for teens to get fucked up on drugs and alcohol. The music too is devoid of any real content, just some 'sickkkk basss drops.' Also this video was added two years ago and has about 10 thousand views. His songs have millions each, so clearly the overwhelming majority don't give a shit about his opinions.

@gadawg6441 There are thousands and thousands of AWARE bassnectar fans. Ever check out his site before? Ask me that question and I'd never stop talking, and none would be about drugs OR a bass drop. And I can safely say I know MANY teens and adults that have been inspired immensely from Lorin and his music.

like many contemporary artists, he's full of shit. Its easy for him to sit back in an interview and talk about how his music is intended for all these positive, visionary things. If you were to ask any kid what they thought of bassnectar or how bassnectar influenced them, most would remark on drug use or just a bass drop. Go to a concert, drugs and alcohol are everywhere. No one would say "bassnectar has taught me the important virtues of family, health, and empathy.
