@courtneymccaw, errr... nah buddy. That would be a 16, you can tell by the width and the mast height.
As well as the adonised beams and mast.
Plus, its says '16' on the sail rights next to the Hobie logo.
Oh oh, and its a 109 series hobie 16.
Hobie 14s never got close to those numbers.

yesterday me n brother were sailing a windrunner and we went to jibe and as we were easing out the sheets the whole mast fell down over the bow.we were stuck out there for like an hour until a boat came and towed us a shore

sorry, i just read the description.
hobie 14's dont have a jib or trapeze, so it was either a hobie 16 with a cockie idiot sailing it, or a 14 turbo TJ.
either way its not so amazing the longest he held a hull up was like 30 seconds

i've kept it up for over 7 minutes, but i don't think that can be recorded from a stationary position on the beach genius. Also "cockie" is spelled cocky...If you are going to make an insult at least spell it right.
