  • At least it doesn't exist in its old right-angle form-the new turn is more gentler, graceful, and faster!

  • love the sounds of the older 6000 series protesting on the sharp curves. The Ravenswood and the North South route had them and they sounded awesome on those sharp curves.

  • the el is from 1892 and it was complety restored back to its oringanl apperance.

  • i miss those sounds when they would be cryin on those tight curves!!!

  • I also remember those 6000-series cars by St Louis, the cars that had AMLE braking IIRC, I miss them, they were good looking cars

  • I'm gald they replace those 1945 EL's it was done in the early 90's
