@coolassprov it's called "sampling" and is a perfectly acceptable artistic tool. however, if the Chemical Brothers did not specifically credit Najat Aatabou for her sampled work, then they have committed a copyright tort. she apparently sued and was successful. though it is a convoluted form of "stealing," it is most certainly not plagiarism, and the fact that you went out of your way to define it as such is condescending, and quite frankly, "douchey."
