Ika odori don (Dancing squid bowl)

The squid'll dance when it gets soy source. That's an instruction I got from a restaurant staff.
At the first try,the squid danced really hard. I didn't expect it so I didn't filmed it..

Octopus live in salt water. Soy sauce is essentially salt water. Why the hell would pouring soy sauce cause pain? Sodium ions set up a galvanic cell within the tentacles and cause movement, similar to how Galvani made frog legs move. Dumb fucks.
