G-Made R1, 55t motor, sidewinder, battery on front links and each front wheels weighs 380g......still torque twist to sort out!

    How did u get the battery on the front links?

  • @mechqeust Hi, Just cable tie a piece of thin plastic to the upper links to make the platform. I use some velcro on the battery and platform to secure. The battery is a 7.2v pack as used in the 1/16th traxxas revos. a small 2s lipos would be better though.

    Hi, Here's my R1.

    Just a short trial to check the braking at nuteral.

    I think close to 30 mins with the 55t motor. Good idea to go lipo though for size and weight.
