  • Why didn't the vet lance it?

  • The vet did pop it. The initial cyst was inside the ear. This one came a few days after the first pop. The first visit to the vet was almost $400 so we decided we could take care of this on our own and we did. He is better.

  • you need to your cat to a vet, this needs to be drained properly, flushed with antibacterial solution, then a drain put in and antibiotics given.

  • The vet gave the cat a shot of antibiotics a few days prior and he gave us meds to put in his ear.

  • That poor cat. That needed to be properly lanced and treated by a vet :-(

  • Pay attention to the above caption..........We did take him to the vet prior to me having to pop this. I'm $400 into this cyst already.

  • I did not have any gloves. My kitty was in pain so I did it without the gloves.

  • We don't know what happened to him. We got home from vacation and it was bleeding so we rushed him to the vet. This is post vet.

  • Puss is pissed!

  • hmmm, no gloves? yeah, that sounds like a great idea?

  • Awwwww!! :) Kitty meow meow!!! Glad the little guy is better!!! :)

  • my cat is growing that on her arm :/ she got attacked about 5 days ago and i found her in my house, her left arm is torned up iit looks like the animal skinned part of her arm off:( and then her foot was punctured, we didnt take her to the vet, we didnt have the money for it so we are taking care of her ourselves, i know it would be better if it was done by the vet but we cant afford it right now, im scared and i pray every night for her to get better but that thing is growing on her upper arm:/

  • Your poor cat, was he/she attacked and it went a bit infected? You're really good for draining it for him, despite his protests. He just probably doesn't like being bound up as if he was in pain he'd really be screaming. Poor little guy.
