Boston Fens Fire April 2010

I was on my way back from a run along the Charles and encountered this along Boylston the Victory Gardens. I know i picked sad music but I thought it was appropriate to inspire reflection. The Boston Fire Department's Spokesperson Stephen MacDonald said "We get two or three big brush fires a year down there, the numbers of fires is attributed to reeds as tall as 5 or 6 feet tall that catch fire easily. I suppose in my 6 years in Boston it has happened before but this was the first time I saw it personally!

@jolesonfilms This was actually taken with the video camera on my 5th Generation iPod Nano I use for running! They had calmed the fire by around 8:00PM tonight, the video was just before 7PM

I was there too and also was able to capture it on video w/ my cell. It's interesting how you set it to music. I probably won't do so, but at least you had an original idea. Not sure if I'll upload my footage here or not, but it's been interesting seeing all the different footage that all these people have uploaded here so far. I wonder if people will be posting even more videos?...
