Not really. It's a complex issue. Technically there was never a palestine. There were a people who identified by the area mandated by the british which was once called palestine but... they technically never owned the land. UN gave a piece of it to Israel in 1948. The UN offered the Palestinians their own, far larger, state. They refused. So ya... I mean the UN gave land that people lived on to another people, but those original people never owned the land to begin with...
