my problem is that when i try to control the horses feet she gets right up into my face. I know this is direspect and it is very annoying. i know i need to get her out of my space but she is so close that my movement is resticted. I know i cannot move away from her because then she thinks she is dominant! what should I do?
i like mr. archer best and am learning alot. i am only 4 years into my experience with horses and need to learn as much as i can. my yearling filly almost walked through me ,so i got her chest with my elbow as i was facing away and ever since, no crowding. hope i didn't do any harm for future.
At first I thuoght he was being too rough with her around 2:45 but after his phone rang and she followed him as he walked away it really showed how he's working WITH the horse and not against her. I don't know too much about horse training but I can tell this guy rocks. :)
I loved watching your video. You are down to earth and not showey. Your advice is solid and breath of fresh air. Thank you for taking the time to show this to all of us.
Thank you for your videos! They really help! You explain and show the viewer exactly what should be done. Great Job! I hope you continue with you videos.
You are a fine trainer.
