Americans just have such a hard time accepting that their history was not all glorious. All she's doing is reminding people of an element of their history that doesn't celebrate how great this country is. That makes her a problem? I think the people who don't want to remember it are the problem.

@fuge000 The answer to your question is no, the only person who can stop someone from being poor is HIS or HER SELF! We've been trying to stop people from being poor in this country for 40+ years and all it has done is create a PERMANENT underclass - dependent on the government for nearly everything - and thus keeping their slave masters, like Sheila Jackson Lee, Maxine Waters, Barney Frank, Chuck Shumer, and their ilk in power.
