I kind of like the hanging tension of the unresolved high Es.. competition was over at this point, right? He should have just had a good time with it and missed the last one too-- or added an E to the final chord, you know, like in those Prokofiev sonatas. But I can understand, if he was coming down with some sickness, that he wasn't in the mood to joke around. But it's a silly piece anyway, isn't it?

@1Thompsonmusic 2010 year competition was far better than 2005 competition, I must say, Blechacz would have been given a run for his money, if he had participated in the 2010 competition

Pianists are playing Chopin less and less upper class in this competition. This is rubbish compared Rafal Blechacz

I don't know why everyone is mentioning his mistakes, since the character, and articulation is un real, it does not ever sound like a piano. its awesome

frustrating performance. everyone seems to mention the high F issue, but he seems to be bothered a lot by his left hand. he loses the left hand a few times throughout the performance. still really good, but i can see why he was so frustrated.
