Perhaps, I didn't actually watch. I just uhh don't really like participating in internet arguments.

You don't have to read every classic in the world to be considered literate, but even if "War of the Worlds" was the most obscure book in the world America's reaction would have to be considered pretty accurate.

Still, a quick scan of some Youtube comments on "alien activity" videos will show you that lots of people people still are and probably always will be quite stupid.
