I would say, it is also haram because we know that smoking is deadly, and if you are killing yourself then that is considered suicide.

الترجمة : التدخين سىء جدا نحن نعرف ذلك الدراسات اثبتت ان التدخين مميت و يسبب السرطان ويسبب عيوب خلقية فى الاطفال ولذلك التدخين حرام و ايضا انها ادمان و اسراف لمال وذك ايضا حرام واكبر سبب الاضرار التى تسببها للانسان و التدخين شىء غير مسموح به اطلاقا فى الاسلام ولذلك ان كنت تعرف مدخنين شجعهم على ترك التدخين فى اسرع وقت و ادعو الله ان يبعده عن التدخين لانها عادة سيئة جداا

I do not easily subscribe to scientific studies. I do not smoke but I think it is stress that kills people more that the actual smoke.
