He may have called the shot, he may have pointed to the Cubs dugout, he may have pointed at Charlie Root, I can't say, it was a half century before my birth. What I can say is that it breaks my heart that the Cubbies didn't beat the snot out of those damn Yankees. Someday we'll go all the way!

@xwexbitex yawn. i'm a cardinal fan. and i know that the cubs are crap without derrick lee. but since they were stupid enough to get rid of them, they're stuck ryan dumpster, national GEOgraphic, and so on. atlest the cards have not gotten rid of albert pujols, and got matt holliday to play for them, it makes the cups look like fresh roasted pieces of crap that just can't win a world series. but who won it in 2006? the cardinals!!!!

@xwexbitex The Cubs will win about three years after they move out of Chicago. That's nothing against Chicago. It just seems that teams with long losing streaks win after they move. Of course long losing streaks are part of a teams' charisma and they lose a lot of that when they win.
