How fuckin old were you in 2000?...6? This is horrible, i could maybe give you the queens of the stone age (wouldn't be in my top ten) just because Dave Grohl is in the band...what other band was he in? That's right, u wouldn't know, you weren't born yet obviously. This is just a compilation of guitar hero and top 40 songs...dig a little deeper than whats on the radio and you'll find much better music out there. I will give you one thing, compared to the 90's, you didn't have much to choose from

I would of had the whole of Youth and Young Manhood by Kings of Leon for my list (Spiral Staircase at number 1). Hardly anyone has heard it, but every song on the album rocks hard. hugely under-rated band.

See, while I probably wouldn't have picked a single one of these and disagree with a lot of them, I RESPECT this list. Most of these bands have merit, and I commend you for that. Some people just have such egregiously bad taste in music that it doesn't really matter if it's their opinion; their opinion still sucks. Thank you for not being one of them.
