This is Jade at 21 months. She would often spin while holding these beads in her hand.

  • I think people need to be more careful with the examples of autism they post. My son LOVES to spin things and loves to spin himself. He is no where near autistic!

  • All children will display a sign or two of autism at some point, does not mean they are autistic however. To meet the criteria for an ASD diagnosis, MANY signs must be present.

  • Мы знаем, как работать с аутизмом. СПб. Психологический Центр "Седьмое измерение".

  • @kkrud I'm 25 and not autistic and I love spinning round. Who wouldn't! It's like a do it yourself roller-coaster feeling.

  • @kkrud Has a pediatric neurologist told you so? I'm just asking nicely. A lot of pediatricians will overlook kids who have autism. You'd be surprised even ppl whom you think would know autism don't.

  • This is perfectly normal behavior for a 2 year old, she even made a baby-talk noise which a child with autism would not. however we are also looking at this out of context, so may I ask, when does she usually do this? if there is a pattern then it is probably her way of calming herself after a traumatic (to her) event, if not then it's just her being a girl.

  • WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PPL.. YOU DONT KNOW IF THE CHILD HAS BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH ATISUM AND U POST UR NEG COMMENTS.. NO ONE SAID THAT JUST BC YOUR CHILD SPIN AROUND THAT THEY HAS AUTISM.. ITS ONE OF MANY SYMPTOMS.. IF U CANT BE POSITIVE WITH UR POSTINGS U SHOULD NOT POST NOTHING AT ALL... THE PARENTS AND FAMILY HAS ENOUGH TO DEAL WITH .. THEY DON'T NEED TO HEAR UR NEG COMMENTS.. AND I HOPE UR NOT A PARENT THAT NEVER HAD THEIR CHILD TESTED TO SEE IF UR DOCTORIN IN THE MEDICAL FIELD IS CORRECT.

  • I have made a video for my nephew, who also has autism and spins everything around; youtube.com/watch?v=p_j0e4eDsJc&NR=1

  • i used to spin when i was little, i liked how when i stopped, everything kept spinning for a moment, then i'd do it again... not autistic tho, just FUN! try it!!!

  • @iwin4u2 "There is very strong evidence that RF's cause Autism" - no there isnt. "strong evidence" is a very strong claim. The links have been tenuous at best. This does not mean that cells phones dont cause ASDs, but it does mean that there is a lack of current research that demonstrates this.

Don't believe everything you read on random webpages and try and be cautious when making such serious claims in a public forum.
