Because it was designed like Kunio Okawara, the designer for many Gundams, including the original one, and it's a Sunrise show.

Check out the Brave shows; many head and face designs were recycled into newer Gundams just recently.

@sonicxbc What does that have to do with SRW J? As a non-OG SRW game it had zero chance of being released here and one of the included series being dubbed or not, would not have changed that.
