PA 28 Emergency Landing PA28

This was a practice side slip landing which can be used if a/c is too high but didnt quite go right. The Gs although small made it difficult to hold the camera still. I almost vomited in the back :D

no i fly myself although not planes. yeah i agree pilot on right here took a huge risk. the pilot on the left was doing circuits but right one decided to to start showing off and therefore this happened.

The pilot is dangerous, my guess is that he will be a statistic in the near future. Taking risks are for stupid non professional pilots.

This is exceptionally dangerous!

During descent the low wing (inside the turn) will stall first and easily develop into a spin. At that low height recovery is impossible.

If you simply follow the rules. (high key low key) a landing like this is not required. if you are too heigh, fly base leg a little wider, set flaps 40 and increase speed to 95 knots. you can bleed off any height that way in a safe manner.

Never slip with a P28 at low height!

Youch... man I'm all for crazy flying and fun as long as its safe but what the instructor was doing was dangerous... he could even lose his license over that maneuvering..
