Envision Your Career

Here's a sneak peek at JIST Publishing's DVD "Envision Your Career." The full program is 22 minutes long and measures career interests of people with little or no English skills/limited reading and writing abilities. The program is based on John Holland's Theory of Types. Viewers watch 66 pictures of various occupations and rate them according to how much they like the occupation on a scale of 1 to 5. The total score reveals the occupational type the viewer fits into: realistic, investigative, artistic, social, enterprising, or conventional.
