  • The "POLICE SERVICE" is just like any other service provided except when use threats, imtimidation, coercion, and deception. Oh wait... that sounds like racketeering, ooops!

Sorry its just a modern version of it. The words, "Protect and serve" are conveniently

absent from the side of their cars now. They are after all "PUBLIC SERVENTS" are they not?

  • No man on this earth has the right to tell another man what he/she can or cannot do, as long as they follow the golden rule of doing no harm both physically or financially to anyone els!

I have great respect for the rule of law as long as our employees respect the fact that i employ them, i have a vested interest in making shure they follow the rules as long as they keep taxing me!

  • The rights that are taken from any individual belong to us all, including the one who tries to remove them. Hence why when you take my rights away you wave your own!

If the police continue to abuse their power and break the code of conduct that is the law. then we have a free for all and no rules to govern the game! If hockey players are allowed to break the rules, just think what kind of game it would be!

  • When anyone removes another person's rights, they automatically wave their own.

And when your done removing your own rights, you will be next in line to have your humanity stripped from you as well. This is where the phrase "What goes around comes around!" comes from! The police are just the hired thugs for the crime bosses in city hall.

By the way people, the police are NOT obligated to show up and help you if you call 911!

It's mostly just public relations that they show up for.

  • ALAMOE13: When you take actions that make people hate you in the first place, then what do you expect? The police can justify escilating the violence when the public reacts to their actions in the first place! They agrivate the people with unjustifide tickets & claims, and routinely violate our comon-law rights, then wonder why some of the people have a hate on for them. Only children act like that!

  • The man was clearly assaulted twice and may have suffered an injury as well.

There was no clear justification for the officer's actions, the law is supposed to protect us the same as them, and you have every right not to be touched without your expressed consent. This officer over reacted to the situation and should be punished for his crime. It is my duty as well as yours to report a crime when it occurs, other wise you have just given your blessing to the cop to commit more crimes like it!

  • All the cops in this video are power hungry assholes who think that just because they have a badge they are better then everyone else. These are the type of cops who don't look at all the surrounding circumstances of a situation, they see one person or whatever and they think they know exactly whats going on. These police officers don't care...never have and never will.... I know these officers and how they work.....they think they can get away with anything.

  • Max your an idiot! Did you NOT see the 2 guys run at the officer? I agree with what the cop did, he had the right to pull out his firearm when then 1st guy came as for all we know had a weapon on him... but he didnt and threw the guy down and the guy didnt stop, so he deserved everything he got!

  • Not to mention there are a lot of cop cars there, it looks like a big bust, which could be pretty volatile, depending on the situation.

  • This happened in 2008, and yes it's in Regina along Dewdney Ave.

I know the officers first thought is his own safety, but isn't that true for us as well?

That's no justification for assaulting someone who may have made a mistake in approaching the officer from behind like that. The officer who he approached was being sensible and gently warned him not to do what he did, but then the bully cop decided he was going to make an example of him to the others.
