  • flubber has something for everyone hahahahahahahaah...Kevin...im sorry to say that but i think you just dont understand spaceballs:D / in my opinion spaceballs is not a good movie but it has more then one good joke in it:D / unfortunately im not familiar with some movies(most black and white you mentioned:))but i bet they would blow my mind away / cant you show that part of the movie with that"damn fine joke"? The Asylum FOREVER

  • Spaceballs has lots of funny, quotable lines, but I think it doesn't work as a movie. Mel Brooks loved the Frankenstein films and that love came across in Young Frankenstein. But he doesn't really grok Star Wars. With Lost Skeleton the movie IS the joke. The director gave us permission to show footage, but the studio wants $2k (!)

  • AScannerDorkly I would have to agree with you on spaceballs, even though I like the movie. Spaceballs is a funny movie, but does not come across as conveying true star wars comical folklore as robot chicken. By the way love the vid's keep them coming

  • i'm with you on spaceballs its not funny and its one of those movies that gets played over and over on TV

  • Ok to sum up all the one's you didn't like everyone else like's and made a crap-load of money, and the one's you did like wellllllllllll no-one's seen or heard of.

  • Case For:

    Galaxy Quest

    Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure

    Night of the Comet

    Men in Black

    Repo Man

    Time Bandits

    Sleeper

And there are numerous science fiction comedies that were not intended to be (Which gave us MST3K). I would guess that for every intentionally funny sci-fi comedy that works, there are at least four or more that fail badly. The same can be said for other genre (romantic-comedy, political-comedy, etc).

PS: Kevin, Please consider a segment for Mexploitation Sci-Fi!
