This years MOBO Awards showed that the UK can really do it, and it was homegrown talent that topped the bill. Best Male went to Dizzee Rascal.

Estelle nabbed the Best UK Female award and a masked Grace Jones presented her with Best Song trophy for her catchy American Boy.

This years awards show how much black music has changed over the years. Estelle and Leona Lewis are storming the mainstream charts and new artists like Skepta, Gigs and Chipmunk are promoting themselves and enjoying success.
