Man I'm in love with these old Suggas! From what I read on another vid they only made 724 of them and its great to see so many still playing on the trails, a truly classy, erm, car-truck?

I used to break half shafts on my diesel landrover. In fact, there was a factory installed half shaft rack mounted behind the driver's seat bulkhead. I have never broken one on my sugga, inspite it it being heavier and having a more powerful engine than the sugga!!

The halfshafts didnt break, I never heard of a brekage in a sugga shaft ever! The suspension cracked so the axle got loose. The the shit hit the fan..... But this was a long time ago.

The half shafts are about as strong as Landy ones then :-(
