  • @lovedapizza it makes me very sad how americans try to change culture. I love culture and think that the differences between lands is what makes the world so interesting and such a great place.

  • no way STICH deffinately sings this better :P

  • This is great. The song is so much better when it's sad, it has so much depth to it. My favorite rendition is the short one in Lilo and Stitch. That one was so chock full of emotion... Just the way it was intended.

  • Damn I didn't expect this to make me cry. It didn't even make me think about anything, it just brought up my pain water.

  • Damn, this song is kicking my ass! It's hard not to think of everyone that has come and gone when I hear this..counting tears for sure...extremely sad

  • Mahalo, love dis so much! Hawaii my home!!

  • Classic song

  • Gibt es dieses Lied auf english? Das wär echt toll. wenn also jemand einen Vorschlag hat, bitte antworten!

  • This is so haunting, so sad, and beautiful. I would love to hear Amy sing a duet with kd lang - they are on the same par vocally.

  • @liljoe4195 Calm down, don't get upset. EthanCole said "whites take things that aren't ment for them" (***EthanCole wasn't commenting about Hawaii or Hawaiian history, he simply made a racist remark about whites***) and all I said when I commented back to him was that his broad, generalized statement was racist, so if he's going to be broad, then say "people". I wasn't denying that whites took Hawaii or anything. I simply said stop being racist! Regardless of who it's toward, racism is racism!

  • The story of Hawaii is heartbreaking, and this song just sums it up.

  • Beautiful song! White, Congregationalists from New England took control and still control Hawai'i....for now.....Aloha
