Hello, everyone this is a walk around video of a 1970 Mach I resto mod Mustang. This was finished a couple months ago and just stored in the garage. It has never been used since full restoration. It has 1 test mile on it. The body recieved a full roisserie restore. It is all metal with no filler. The interior was all replaced and well as the custom suspension, drivetrain, etc.
The engine is a custom 427 SOHC cammer motor that pushes out a whopping 750 HP. These were very rare engine being only 300-500 ever made in 1964 by Ford. This one is extremly rare as it was also a Holman and Moody racing engine.
The transmission is a built C-6 with a shift kit and a 3500 stall convertor. The rear end is a Ford 9" Detroit Locker with 350 gears.
The suspension is a Martz 4 link. It also has a full Martz chassis as well. The car has 4 wheel Wilwood power disk brakes. The rotors are vented and slotted for better braking. The wheels are 17" American racing polished alloys wheels. The car has custom autometer gauges. The car also has A/C and power steering which was added.
If anyone has any questions please feel free to call me at 570-875-7109. The price is not cheap. Sorry but no trades. Thanks so much. Marty

  • Yes I start andrun the car on the other video here on Youtube.

  • 427 sohc single 4V was around 620hp, 427 sohc dual 4V was around 660hp. Great Ford engine!

  • Yes you are correct. This exact engine pushes out about 750Hp. It looks all stock on the outside but has some goodies on the inside.

  • RESEMBLES A BOSS 429???!!! Man you are so NOT familiar with these 2 wonder motors!! The BOSS looked like a 800 lb. gorilla. The 427 Single OverHead Cam was light years ahead of its time("Sneaky" Pete Robinson took it to warp drive by substituting gear drive for the 6+ timing chain). Probably the GREATEST engine to come from the US manufactures EVER. A chimpanzee can tune out a Chevy small/big block. It takes a REAL MECHANIC to make these beauties ROAR!

  • @schatzisgirl1 In 1969 Chrysler had a Dodge Daytona(Hemi )do 243mph at their Chelsea Michigan test track...Charlie Glotzbach was driving

  • The 350 Was redesign So it could last. While ford droped push rods for Over Head Cam. 350's from the 60's 70's 80's don't have much in common with the 1990's LS1 350's

  • @Mr427cammer the 350 was a better engine thats why it out lived the old for 351.

  • @bobfe360 And you should up grade to real engines. A 351 Cleveland will blow away any 350 shevey in stock form. If you bulid a 351 Cleveland it runs like a 427 Cammer. Bob Glidden got tired of beating built 350 sheves with his Cleveland engine in the 70's and 80's. LOL!!

  • do you have videos of you wipping a tuners ass with it

  • this engine right here was the engine that nascar outlawed they saw it one time on the track and saw how bad ass it was and said it would be no comparison with the hemi which was why it was built in the first place so nascar said hell no that engine is outlawed funny thing was when they saw the engine go on the track ford was still working out the bugs it went 220 mph

  • you should up grade to chevy 350. lol

  • The autozone braided steel cover on the radiator hose has got to go, good job on the rest of the car.
