I got a bit worried when the screen didn't work, but after a couple of tries with the 3 connectors it works.

I personally wouldn't use super glue of some kind to stick them back on.

I am having the hardest time getting #3 cable to go in :-( How did you get yours to slide in so easily?

I replaced the glass and made all connections the phone vibrates but screen is black. I have held down both buttons and still nothing. I suspect cable #3 (the one that locks down) may be damaged. What is it used for and what do I need to order to replace?

If the screen is black, then your LCD needs to be fastened tightly and/or you need to reset your phone by holding the home & power button until it turns on

Any idea what could make the phone not recognized by itunes?

@tcon712
Ideas:
1. The #4 compression connector isnt connected
2. The Charging port is damaged
3. Logic board connector has an issue.
