  • how did you make the parachute

  • Parachute was made from a piece of round rip-stop nylon with a center hole. Strings were braided fishing line. Chemical reaction of baking soda, citric acid and water extended a syringe to lift the nose cone. Elastic band pulled the parachute out of the nose cone. Ken S.

  • Just wondering how so much water comes out of the bottle, is the nozzle small to allow a stronger and longer burst? I have a water rocket launcher, they are so fun!!!

  • This rocket used about 680 ml of 30% soapy water. Nozzle is small so that the energy is released over a longer period, otherwise it would go too fast and disintegrate. Thrust was about 17 pounds even with such a small nozzle throat, 0.136 inches diameter. Ken S.

  • where did you get the tubes from?

  • The tubes supporting the ring fin are polystyrene, from the local hobby shop. KS
