Ohio Ready Mix gets Sea Legs!

For the first time ever an Ohio Ready Mix truck is seen on a barge taking a load of concrete to a site on Indian Lake. Ohio Ready Mix and Shoreline Construction made it possible to get to our customer no matter where they need concrete!

My Brother had to do a similar Job during the construction for the new Severn Bridge in South Wales, He had to reverse his truck onto a barge, then was towed out to a batching plant on the site of the central piers & the blow the slag cement into a silo hoping the tug was able to keep the barge in place, As the the Severn has the 2nd highest tidal reach in the world .

I drove one of these trucks for a year. I love them. The ride is not the greatest but these truck got balls. I burried mine 8 times and pulled ot on my own 6 times.

My truck had these specs:

Cat C-12 motor (unlocked and fully tuned producing roughly 500 hp and 1900 lbs torque)

Eaton 8 speed with low-range splitter

Ford rear-end (bullet proof!!) I wish i could own one of these!
