    I saw this when it first aired - a wonderful performance. Back then we had only 2 channels where I lived, so we didn't get a lot of chances to see t.v. performances of singers...unless they were on HeeHaw :P

    So the Mike Douglas Show was where I had a chance to see some popular singers for the first time. People like Billy Joel, Dr. Hook, and Peter Frampton are some I can remember.

    Seems like I remember Mike asking Ray Sawyer of Dr Hook if his eye patch was 'for looks' on the stage.
