More than 100 years ago, our founding president, Henry Marshall Tory, vowed that the University of Alberta would be devoted to uplifting the whole people. Today, as this video shows, our students, faculty and staff continue to find inspiration in that promise to build community and help make the world a better place.
Having attended Grant MacEwan, NAIT, and UofA, I have to say that UofA is by far best. There aren't as many attractive people as there are in GMAC, so it's a lot easier to stay focus on school. It's better than NAIT because at UofA we
get to learn a LOT of useless stuff that no one will ever use in their career, so we can flaunt that knowledge and prove
to non UofA alumnis that we are so much better than them. Feels good, man.

@polumide get your facts right. Do you see me blaming anything on the UofA???
MrAllrounder77 5 months ago
@MrAllrounder77 why on earth would you blame the UofA for your failures to meet admission requirements to the school? I don't know why anybody, except the worst ignoramus, would consider a charge to uplift people as the worst promise. Those who know know, and there are records bearing the evidence that the UofA is one of the most prestigious universities in the whole wide world. Please get used to that reality.

I go here. Work is hard, but the teachers are great and there's a lot of opportunities from graduating from the U of A.
